IMPORTANT ADVANTAGES VS EXISTING TECHNOLOGIES:
THE INVENTION IN A NUTSHELL
The invention provides a process to produce lipidic vehicles which comprises stirring a mixture of a lipid and a promoter in a liquid medium comprising of water and a liquid polyol, heating the mixture in two steps, wherein the temperature of the mixture in the second step is higher than the temperature in the first step and allowing the mixture to cool down to room temperature.
The process utilizes, in addition to the mechanical shock caused by the stirring, a thermal shock caused by the temperature increase in the second step of heating. I also enables the production of lipidic vehicles and liposomes without using chlorinated or other volatile organic solvents. Furthermore, the process does not require the use of sonication or centrifugation and does not require the use of reduced pressure.
GROWTH OPPORTUNITY
exploit our new intellectual property and our new manufacturing plant with the aim to:
» Significantly expand the number of Liposomal Formulations in our product portfolio to
increase sales domestically and internationally.
» Offer out-licensing/contract manufacturing services to Pharma, Nutraceutical,
Cosmeceutical, Food, and Veterinary Companies.
- No Organic Solvents
- Low Heat
- Easy Scale Up
- Stability
- Special Physicochemical Characteristics
- The process is well-differentiated
